The facade of the newly refurbished library came alive as members of the public rotated giant projected books via a bookcase carousel. Chosen books then opened on the building, with each volume animated to reveal its contents. The books referenced aspects of the library collection and its Liverpool setting, including Birds of America, Alice in Wonderland, and poems by Levi Tafari.

This was an ambitious project, using live feeds from a custom built carousel to give control of the video content to the viewer.  The opening drew enormous crowds, and the projections dramatically transformed the spectacular new library facility.
