During tthe Covid lockdown, we  partnered with Hits Radio  and City of Trees, to create a unique ‘tree tribute’ to key workers in the Greater Manchester area.

The public got involved by sharing a photo of a key worker on social media using #LivingHeroes which were immortalised in an art project to celebrate the amazing work they've done.

As part of the project, 33 trees in and around the centre of Manchester had the face of a nominated key worker projected on it.  This gallery shows the results.
