For 199 years the judges of the court at Lancaster stayed in the Judge’s Lodgings, passing judgement on the cases brought before them. Chief among these were those cases brought to the Court of the King’s Bench, and now the Bench is back – to judge you! Featuring an interactive buzzwire, The King’s Bench sat in front of the lodgings, a device to test your innocence or guilt – but beware! Each time you made a wrong move you upset the Chief Justice, making his lodgings fizzle and pop, its ornate contents shaking from their place, the judge running frustratedly across the building.
