Momentous was an ambitious project, with huge crowds enjoying the projection across three nights.  There was excellent national coverage, with BBC’s The One Show beaming footage live on Thursday night, as well as images in the Independent an the Times to name but a few.  Huge thanks to Leeds Inspired for such a great event, videos and images here are from Kippa Matthews, and some footage from Karl Milner and Rick Harrison.

‘Momentous’ builds on the rich history of renowned Leeds clockmaker William Potts. Some of Potts' clocks feature mechanical figures which were designed to capture the attention of the public and create a shared moment when they chimed the time, on the hour and each quarter hour. The projection onto Civic Hall built on this idea featuring video footage of Leeds people going about their daily lives to transform the clock face every 15 minutes.
