TALL TALES
Hundreds of local people visited Stockbridge Village on 4 & 5 February to see Tall Tales.
The stunning large-scale community artwork saw Merecliff – a residential 16 storey tower in Stockbridge Village owned by ForHousing– animated and illuminated in light, accompanied by heart-warming stories from the local community.
Landlord ForHousing, Knowsley Council, light and sound artists, Illuminos and importantly the people of Stockbridge Village collaborated to bring this dramatic projection to the heart of the community.
Everyone has a story to tell... it’s time to tell ours
The event was one of the key elements of Knowsley Borough of Culture, alongside our New Dawn Spectacular. Knowsley’s theme for its year as Borough of Culture is Storytelling and central to the whole idea is the opportunity to capture and bring to life the stories of the borough’s people and places.
